If I was a koala…
I would go to Antarctica to visit my friend Penguin.
First I hopped into a 4W drive. The 4W drive took me to Cairns. Then I took the Country Link train all the way to Sydney along the coast. The seats were really good because they were made out of fluffy sheep wool. It was a very fast train and it took 10 hours. When I arrived to Sydney in Central Station I got off the train. I waited 5 minutes to catch the airport link train. When I got to the airport I put my bag on the conveyer belt and I then boarded Air New Zealand plane. The flight took 4 hours and 40 minutes because there were some problems with the engine, but everything was fine. When we got there it was winter, it snowed a little bit, but it was OK. Then I got on a bus all the way down to Invercargill, which is at the bottom of New Zealand. At Invercargill an Icebreaker ship was waiting for me. The cruise took 3 days and 4 nights, because there were some very strong sea weeds that got tangled in the propeller at the back of the ship. Finally, I arrived to Antarctica, but before I got to my friend’s house I stopped at a café because I was very hungry and tired. My friend was very happy to see me and he welcomed me in his cave home next to the water. THE END

Great way to teach and understand geography.
